Service Manager - Coleman, TX

Location: Coleman, TX
Type of Employment: Full-time

Quality Implement Co. is searching for a Service Manager for our dealership in Coleman, TX. Candidates should live in Coleman or be able to relocate at their own expense.

Primary Duties:

  • Receive equipment from customers and write up a detailed problem list
  • Assign work orders to technicians
  • Communicate regularly with customers regarding quotes, progress of work, and completed work
  • Review completed work orders and final bill customers
  • Collection of payment
  • Assist technicians with problem solving solutions
  • Assign technician work schedules and approve PTO
  • Continually assess Work In Progress
  • Communicate regularly with Corporate Service Manager regarding status of work, Work In Progress, and trouble areas
  • Lead the effort in workplace safety
  • Communicate with Warranty Administrator all warranty claims
  • Coordinate the evaluation and inventory of new equipment as it arrives from shipping company, make repair claims to shipping companies as warranted
  • Maintain inventory of shop supplies and facilities
  • Schedule intracompany trucking as needed
  • Participate in hiring and discipline of employees
  • Other duties to be assigned

Strong computer skills and communication skills are required. Prefer experience with Agriculture Equipment.

This is a full-time position Monday – Friday. Saturday mornings on a rotating basis. Base Salary PLUS Commission. Benefit package includes: Health/Dental options, 401k with 4% matching, Paid Time Off (PTO), 6 paid Holidays, Paid ADD (life) insurance, Uniform Program, potential for Safety Bonus.
